Whenever an enquiry comes in for this venue I do a little dance inside... Tom and Liz had seen my work on the Pimhill Barn website and contacted me to arrange a meet-up.
I met Tom and his best men at Albrighton Hall before making my way over to capture Liz's bridal prep at Burlton Cottages. I'm not sure I've ever witnessed such calm preparations; it was zen-like, just bliss.
Liz wore a stunning bespoke vintage wedding dress from Elizabeth Avey's London boutique. 1940s lace with a champagne slip, just dripping in detail. Tom opted for a brown tweed suit by Tweed Addict, made to measure. Liz and her father arrived in a classic Skoda Felicia convertible and the arrival and departure music at the ceremony was composed by Liz's father and was also at their wedding.
There were so many lovely personal touches - hand-made bunting, wildflower vases, twinkling jam jars and a stunning three-tier floating wedding cake made my Liz's mother, despite undergoing surgery to her wrist in the weeks before the wedding; serious dedication to the cause...!
Here are my best bits...
